TASNEEF was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi. The main activity is the Classification of ships and offshore platforms. On 12/12/2012 TASNEEF and Italian Classification Society RINA, signed a service agreement that established three years of strategic partnership to assist TASNEEF in development of classification services. It's the short term objective of TASNEEF to obtain the recognition of the flag administrations of all GCC and surrounding countries and the long term objective to join the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).
